Just a heads up for everyone to check their CC bill for charges from LA Casting. My son's account was credited in Dec. 2017 (after I emailed them and asked) and was told he had a free account AND free media hosting through May 2018. With zero warning, I received a receipt from them today for January charges!

I wanted to update my child's reel for pilot season but all of her new stuff is streaming. DVD purchase is not an option. I have Movavi- which has worked in the past but it no longer works for Hulu, Amazon or Netflix. Is there a service that can collect this footage for us?

Hi. My son has two agents. Big bicoastal. And small local. They don't get along. It's a pain sometimes. But anyway. The question and disagreement of the day is: resume so, do you guys include roles that your DC has booked and filmed, on your resume, even if after it comes out, the scene (s) were cut and they are no…

In another post, several people heaped praise on USC as a top school for student films. Are there others in the LA area, like USC. I'm curious about Loyola Marymount, and there is also a high school in LA that has had breakdowns on AA. And if anyone in other markets like NY, Atlanta, or Chicago wants to chime in abo…

Don't get my wrong I'm healthier, looking better and more confident but my look no longer matched ALL of previous footage. My goal was to start marketing…

Helen Mirren: "Never act in front of a mirror. You are doing the exact opposite of what acting is about. Acting is all about what is happening within you. It doesn't matter what is happening on your face."Interesting!

So, to make it short and sweet, I wanted to know the BEST way to email your headshots and resume to a Casting Director. I read somewhere that it's not a good idea to send them as an attachment. Is this at all true. Thank you.

We've had two breakdowns submitted by our new agent, both from Casting Networks, that never appeared in my lists for auditions. Do agents see things that we, the general subscribers do not see? I monitor daily. And, does it work the same way for Actors Access? Thanks

This is more of a curiosity than anything else. One of my dreams as a filmmaker is to be cast in a background 2nd- or 3rd-tier bad guy role in an action movie or a western. Like a “Gunman #2” kind of role, of one those who shows up in the shootout and immediately gets killed. That’d be amazing. Has anyone here ever don…

I am a young adult actor. I sing, I dance, I tell funny stories. I've been auditioning in NYC for 3 years. I've auditioned for all the big casting companies. I'm very saddened about what's going on, but it's not surprising. Any time there is power, there is going to...

I guess the reason I'm asking this question is because in Barbados, it's not easy to get theater gigs and I truly love acting. The thrill of getting to be a totally different person from your rather boring life excites me a bit. It's like bring a one dimensional character to life.
